Summer surrounds in full force; it’s time to dip in the lakes while soaking sun or enjoying a poolside sip with great reads and tunes. After sunning and swimming, and prior to a savory BBQ, enjoy your refreshing shower in a space that’s meant for true rejuvenation.
Update your bathroom(s) with new elements that make it a pleasurable place to refresh. This can be an easy or involved undertaking, depending on your motivation when days are so sunny!
WITH EASE: White, luxurious towels, a crisp shower curtain, and clear glass medicine jars for cotton items update clearly and cleanly. Or, introduce pop color in the same ways with minimal or extensive accessorizing—poppy, lime green, yellow. A fresh coat of paint works amazing wonders, and remember to use semi or higher gloss versions for spaces that get wet. Select a color that coordinates with any tile or permanent elements so that you don’t have to take on the world to get a new look!
LESS EASE: New fixtures and cabinetry hardware renew any space immediately. Consider a rain showerhead and coordinating faucet sets: these are relatively easy to install, but make sure to adjust your water’s on and off!
DARING: Ever consider an outdoor shower?!
Draw from your most inspiring places or sentiments. Hang photos of places you’ve been, adore, or aspire to visit. Or, incorporate objects that touch your spirit, since this is a place of refreshing that’s often visited in the beginnings and endings of each day.
Be jubilant this July!
